Product Advantages

  • Stable and reliable

    · The motor and pump are coaxially aligned, ensuring smooth operation, low noise, minimal vibration, and high component concentricity.
    · Features a carbide mechanical seal that offers wear resistance and a long service life; it is leak-free, ensuring a clean environment.

  • Compact structure

    · The inlet and outlet diameters are identical, the centerline heights are aligned, and installation is convenient.
    · The base of the assembly is equipped with a mounting base and bolt holes, allowing for either rigid or flexible connection.

  • High Efficiency and Energy Saving

    · It employs a high-performance motor, enabling higher operating efficiency and reduced energy consumption.
    · Install an air release valve to completely vent air from the pump and ensure a successful start-up.

Detailed Description

Product Description

This is a new generation of XBD-series inline medium-to-low pressure fire-fighting pump units, developed based on existing vertical multistage pumps to meet the latest standards for fire-fighting pumps. The series fully complies with fire-fighting pump requirements regarding performance, structure, materials, and auxiliary components. Utilizing superior hydraulic models, the pumps effectively meet user needs; their vertical structure ensures high efficiency and a broad performance range while saving installation space. High-quality bearings and motors ensure safe, reliable operation with low noise and minimal vibration. Hydraulic balancing of axial forces minimizes the need for balancing drums, resulting in smoother operation. Shaft sealing options include both mechanical seals and gland packing; the pumps also feature convenient inline flange piping arrangements, high rotational speeds, and lightweight designs.

FAQs:

  • 1

What is the difference between the vertical and horizontal models?

Vertical pumps save installation space and are ideal for compact pump rooms. Horizontal pumps are easier to service and are preferred for larger-capacity systems.
  • 2

What liquids can the pump handle?

It is designed for clean water, fire water, and other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water, free of abrasive solids and long fibers.
  • 3

What information is needed to select the correct fire pump?

Required Flow Rate; Required Head (Pressure); Power Supply; Frequency (50Hz / 60Hz); Installation Type; Fire Protection Standard; Water Source; Project Location; Ambient Temperature
