The ZW(L) series is a complete vertical diaphragm-type pneumatic fire-fighting pressure-boosting and stabilizing system designed for use with “temporary high-pressure” fire water supply systems. It addresses the issue of insufficient static pressure—specifically when the elevation of the rooftop fire water tank is inadequate to meet the static pressure requirements for the most hydraulically remote fire hydrants or sprinkler heads on the top floor. This equipment maintains constant pressure in the piping network and stores a 30-second supply of water for initial fire-fighting operations.
